This blog has been born out of my love of all things travel and how we can continue to travel now that we have school age children. Our eldest has just started in Year 1 so we have completed a full year of navigating our way through school holidays and faced the ‘big one’ the long summer break.
As any parent of school age children knows, the planning and preparation that takes place before the holidays begin is immense. We want to keep our kids entertained and have family time #makingmemories.
You may also want a summer holiday. Or a weekend away. Or day trip to the beach.
Travelling on a budget becomes more a of a challenge when you are tied to school holidays with prices skyrocketing – but it’s not impossible!
I will shortly be posting money saving tips for travelling with children and information on places we have been to over the last year, including what no one ever likes to talk about, how much it all cost.
